Start the process to become a notary with our state-approved online Notary education classes for the following states with mandatory notary training requirements: Florida, Pennsylvania, Montana, and California Notary training course. ASN also offers the state-approved Florida Remote Online Notary (RON) Public Training Course.

Training Requirements by State:
• Florida, notary education required for first time notary applicants or applicants that have had a significant lapse in their notary commission. Course must be a 3-hour training.
• Florida Remote Online Notarization Course RON, course for Florida notaries filing an Online Notary Public registration application.
• Pennsylvania, notary training required for new and renewing notary applicants. Course must 3 hours taken online or in a classroom, taken within a 6-month period preceding application. Exam required for first time applicants and renewing applicants that have had a lapse in commission.
• Montana, satisfies Montana’s Notary education requirement and prepares Notary applicants to take the mandatory exam.
• California (6 hour and 3 hour), notary training and exam required for an applicant applying for a new commission (6-hour course.) Renewing applicants must take a 3-hour refresher course (must meet certain requirements).
• Missouri, notary education OR reading the Missouri Notary Handbook required, new and renewing Notary applicants .
